The 21st century re-incarnation of The Oxford Mint aims to bring high quality British themed coins and bars at relatively sensible prices to investors and collectors alike.

Over the next few years The Oxford Mint plans to release a series of proof and proof like products which will change the way in which investors and collectors perceive precious metal coins and bars.

Our precious metal coins will generally be genuine limited editions – we consider a “limited edition mintage of 20k” as an Oxymoron!

The Oxford Crown was struck at The Oxford Mint in 1642 under the auspices of Charles I – it was considered a remarkable coin for it’s time in terms of the detail and minting quality and put the 17th century Oxford Mint ahead of it’s time in that respect.

Today’s Oxford Mint, in the reign of Charles lll, aims to continue that legacy by introducing modern day minting technological developments in its products that will set them apart from the rest. These developments will become evident in due course as our products are released.
